| Women Empowerment |
Women’s Empowerment programme is initiated to educate the women about their rights. The women of rural community are encouraged to form groups, voice their problems, and solve them collectively. The members are educated about their rights and various activities including personality development programmes, social and economical development, capacity building, motivational programmes, family counseling, etc. ADF is targeting all the women of all five villages for their development. Following activities are carried out for the development of women in the rural area. |

Meeting with community women are held to motivate them to actively participate in their social, economical and Political development
Mahila Mandal (Women Group) are formed to voice their fundamental rights and social development
Self Help Groups are formed to make women economically independent.
Training & Workshop are organised to develop business skills in the women to initiate income generation programme.
International Women’s day is celebrated to boost the confidence of women.
Exposure visit of community women are organised to improve their knowledge regarding total empowerment. |
| Adolescent girls development: |
The Adolescent Girls Development Programme is initiated to help the young girls to build their self-confident and make them self- reliant with understanding about their natural growth. Girls are empowered to take part in decision-making in family and society as a whole. Emphasis is given to educate them on sexual health to protect them vulnerable diseases. The adolescent girls programme in very successful programme as girls are taking much interest in activities organised by the ADF. Regular meetings and training programmes are motivating the girls to form groups. Enrollment of girls in vocational training programme is also a good indicator for success of programme. They are actively participating in the programmes organised by the department as per planned schedule. Following activities are conducted in villages for adolescent girls development: |

| Male youth development: |
The aim of the Male Youth development Programme is to channellize the energy of the youths towards Development and instills in them a sense of dignity, self-reliance and leadership thereby discouraging them to engage in anti-social activities. Therefore, meetings and training programmes were organised in the community to motivate them to form groups for their own development. Social workers organised meetings in all villages to mobilize the male youth between the age group 16-25 years to form the groups. They were informed about the benefits of group formation. They were informed in the meeting that collectively they could solve their own problems as well as community problems. They were educated in the about the development activities initiated by ADF and encourage them to become the part of development process. Since the male youth of the villages are engaged in anti social activities and petty activities like roaming idly and has no faith in present development process of government therefore it took much time for social workers to mobilize them and motivate them to participate in meeting for group formation. | Children’s development: |
The aim of the project is to improve the educational status of children especially girl child and declined dropout rate of children in school. Emphasis is given to build leadership qualities amongst the children in the rural area. The children in the age group 5-15 years are mobilized and organized to develop the community through the formation of children’s organizations. Parents of these children are also mobilized through meetings and one to one contact. Following activities are conducted in the villages for children’s development: |

Meetings are organised for admission and regular attendance of the children.
Refreshers course for teachers are introduced to improve the knowledge of English & Science.
Summer camp & Educational outings are organised.
Mobile Library has been established to facilitate reading habits of children.
Science Lab has been introduced to enhance the interest of children in science.
Picnics and outing of children are organised.

| Sports and Games Development: |
The main aim of programme is to develop the physical and mental strength of children as well the youth of the rural community in order to build up the confidence and skill among the children. The sports activities would encourage them to concentrate their mind in creative and constructive activities and divert their attention form anti social activities. The negotiation with Panchayat leaders of all villages is held to develop a playground in village. A meeting with Panchayat leaders and village heads were organised for allotment of land for playground. Community people were also engaged in persuasion for land allotment for playground for community children. As a result Panchayat informed the community people as well as ADF that two playgrounds were established in villages. Main activities of sports and games development are: |

| Community Health: |
The objective of programme is to improve the health status of community people as well as providing them health facility at their doorstep. The rural community is very ignorant about their health issues. They still practice old tradition for treatment. Women are not aware about the health issues of their children as well as their own. Their knowledge on reproductive health is very inadequate. Their awareness regarding the health issues particularly about the women & children’s health is improved through training programmes. The main activities of community health programme are: |

Training on Nutrition is provided to community women.
Training on Promotion health & HIV/AIDS is provided to community people.

| Agriculture Development: |
Main aim of agricultural development programme is to set up a model unit of integrated agricultural development process to help the farming community to increase their income. Farmers were educated about wormy compost, which is the natural fertilizer and different from the chemical one. Training on organic farming is given to the farmers so that they can increase the productivity by a natural method and do not have to go for expensive fertilizers.
