Household Water Treatment Safe Storage Programme

Introduction

The project Household Water Treatment and Safe Storage (H.W.T.S.) is run by Asha Deep Foundation since July – 2012 pm words with the support of “Development Alternatives” to create awareness on simple method of water purifier which community people can continue safe and clean drinking water.

Aim

To ensure availability of clean and hygienic water in less expense.

Objectives

To create awareness among community people towards water, sanitation and clean water for family wellbeing..
To create awareness about safe storage and hand washing for drinking water.

List of household survey covered in the awareness campaign
Monthly meeting with community mobilizer

Awareness among Asha Worker, Health, Officials and local Govt. representative of the area.
Awareness camp in the community.
Water testing of water sources and household samples.

Identification of tentative Schools in the community.
contest School to fix up appointment for engagement for the campaign.
Training of School teachers and 2 students to create awareness in School.
Awareness shut for children n household water treatment and safe storage.
Awareness in the School.
Competition in Schools (Painting)
Workshop with School teachers and School student’s representative.
